Product Summary
The PM8313-RGI is a M13 multiplexer/demultiplexer. The applications of the PM8313-RGI include: (1)M23 or C-Bit Parity Format DS1 to DS3 Mux/Demux Equipment; (2)Fractional T3 Access Equipment; (3)DS2-to-DS3 Mux/Demux Equipment; (4)DS1-to-DS3 Mux/Demux Equipment Supporting G.747 Tributary Format.
Parametrics
PM8313-RGI absolute maximum ratings: (1)Ambient Temperature under Bias: -40℃ to +85℃; (2)Storage Temperature: -40℃ to +125℃; (3)Supply Voltage: -0.5V to +6.0V; (4)Voltage on Any Pin: -0.5V to VDD+0.5V; (5)Static Discharge Voltage: ±500 V; (6)Latch-Up Current: ±100 mA; (7)DC Input Current: ±20 mA; (8)Lead Temperature: +300℃; (9)Absolute Maximum Junction Temperature: +150℃.
Features
PM8313-RGI features: (1)Integrates a complete M13 multiplexer/demultiplexer in a single monolithicdevice; (2)Integral framer supports the M23 or Cbit parity DS3 format with path maintenance datalink processing and; (3)bit-oriented code support for Far-End Alarm and Control (FEAC) channel termination; (4)Supports either the M12 or the G.747 formats to allow DS1 or E1 signals to be multiplexed into a DS3 signal.; (5)Allows the M12 stages to be bypassed allowing direct input of DS2 signals; (6)Generates an interrupt upon detection of various alarms, events, or changes in status. Identification of interrupt sources, masking of interrupt sources, and acknowledgement of interrupts is provided via internal registers; (7)Provides a generic 8-bit microprocessor interface for configuration, control, and status monitoring; (8)Low power 5 V CMOS technology; (9)Available in a high density (28 by 28 mm) 208-pin Plastic Quad Flat Pack (PQFP) package.
